China Holiday Arrangement in 2011 Announced
The State Council released the “Circular on Part of the Holiday Arrangement in 2011?(Guobanfamingdian [2010] No.40) on December 9 2010 with the official holiday for year 2011 scheduled as follows:
1. New Year’s Day：January 1-3 (three days in total)
2. Spring Festival (Chinese New Year)：February 2-8 (seven days in total)
January 30 (Sunday) and February 12 (Saturday) are official working days
3. Tomb Sweeping Day：April 3-5 (three days in total)
April 2 (Saturday) is an official working day
4. Labour Day：April 30-May 2 (three days in total)
5. Dragon Boat Festival：June 4-6 (three days in total)
6. Mid-autumn Festival：September 10-12 (three days in total)
7. National Day：October 1-7 (seven days in total)
October 8 (Saturday) and October 9 (Sunday) are official working days
